Dawn Hardy, Macmillan Palliative Care Nurse Specialist for Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, explains how e-ELCA can be used on and off the ward, particularly in a blended learning approach being facilitated by ward managers.

In this film, made in 2012, Dawn explains her experiences using e-ELCA in a pilot project involving 35 members of staff and incorporating full study days featuring taught lessons and computer sessions.

This blended learning was very successful, and staff valued the opportunity to have time off the ward to immerse themselves in the e-ELCA training.
