Consultant rheumatologist on being a teaching fellow

Video will be available shortly

Alec Price-Forbes, consultant rheumatologist with the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, decided to take a year out from his medical career to take up a teaching post.

Mr Price-Forbes was the first appointed teaching fellow at Warwick Medical School in 2004.

He has been interested in teaching since he started his own training and that interest developed further when he began to work for the NHS.

In this interview, filmed in 2009, he says training to be a teacher himself was a natural choice.
